Some Quick Beauty Fixes For A Tired You.
You get your 6-8 hours of sleep a night. You de-stress yourself with yoga or some other exercise routine, you feel great but you still look tired. How come, you ask? Well maybe one of these simple fixes can cure your faux fatigue. Sodium other wise known as salt leaves you looking puffy. Salt helps the body hold onto water which causes you to look puffy and tired. So try to limit you salt intake especially around the holidays where it seems that salt is everywhere. Go easy on the foundation.
Foundation can sink into your wrinkles making them more pronounced and even worse making you look older. Try using a tinted moisturizer instead because it gives a flawless glow. Drink your H2O. Water helps to fight against the dehydration of you skin which increases wrinkles. When using eyeshadow try to avoid using rose colors, plums and browns because they tend to enhance redness in your eyes. Lastly, try to avoid sleeping on your face. When you sleep with face down fluid pools in your face making it puffy. I hope you find these beauty tips helpful. Let me know how you do. Information found at www.glamour.com

Gold Rush
Winter's Back, Ho-Hum.
Even though during the winter most of us aren't able to enjoy being out in the sun you can still bring the sun's golden rays to your face. I read a great article in Allure magazine today which talked about using gold toned make-up to fake a sun kissed look and I wanted to share it with you. Use a little gold eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes. This color works well with brown eyeshadow or you could try placing a dot of gold eyeshadow to the center of your lids over your favorite eyeshadow.
To bring an all over your face golden color; dust a soft gold powder to your cheekbones. Just above the eyebrows and your chin. For your lips you can choose a gold colored lipstick or gloss. If gold color lipstick sounds like it's too much for you then you could try a light beige or sand colored lipstick. Then swipe a little bit of gold in the middle of your lower lip.
Allure also had another great idea to give you a quick brightening to your hair. Dust gold powder along the part of your hair with a fluffy make-up brush and then use a little hair spray to help keep the powder in place. Give it a try and play around with the gold make-up and let me know how this works for you. http://www.allure.com/

Kiss Winter Skin Bu-Bye
Here Are A Few Simple Tips I Have Tried To Help Keep My Skin Nourished And Flake Free In The Winter...
- Drink your H2O, it keeps the skin hydrated. Even though, you are not sweating like you do in the summer, you are still loosing water through your skin naturally throughout the day.
- Use humidifiers. Winter air can be very drying, especially if you use heat for warmth in the winter.
- Take shorter showers and immediately apply liberal amounts of moisturizer cream after your shower.
- Go fragrance free. Fragrances in laundry soap and fabric softeners can irritate winter skin.
- Thicker is better. Try mixing good old fashion Vaseline with your favorite body cream for extra protection. (Don't forget trouble spots like knees and elbows)
- Try a lotion with a shimmer to give skin a healthy wintry glow.
Please comment on some wintry moisturizing tips of your own.

"Lighten Up!" Beauty For Your Face
- Use a light shimmering eyeshadow as a base. Make sure it is applied to the inner corners of eyes and just below your eyebrows to make eyes get noticed.
- Use an eye brightener, that brings light and radiance to the skin. This helps to erase signs of fatigue and brightens complexion. Can be used to other areas of your face.
- Go for the gold. Try a bronzer, such as one with gold tones to get a healthy glow. Apply to face, neck and chest area.
- Or you can chose to use a tinted moisturiser, such as Stilla Illumination Tinted Moisturiser. This helps to make skin look flawless.
- Don't forget your pearly whites. Grab yourself an over-the-counter tooth whitening system and unwrap a bright new beautiful smile.

Fabulous Holiday Lips
Beauty Tips To Show Off Your Fabulous Holiday Lips:
- Use a dab of concealer on lips to give an even base color. This will also help keep lipstick in place.
- Use a lip brush for more precise lipstick application.
- Follow with a natural color lip liner to give lips that defined classy look.
- Apply a coat of lip gloss. Choose one with a touch of shimmer for that special holiday evening or event.
- For a Ho-Ho-Ho-Hot holiday look try a red lipstick. If you are fair skinned use a basic red lipstick. If you have a dark complexion, choose a brick color and for olive or golden skin, try an orangey shade. Via Glamour Magazine December 2008
