Yes, ZZ Top was the inspiration for my blog title today. For those of you too young (lucky you!) to recognize the blog title, it's a from a song from the 70-80's band ZZ Top, but I digress.
PUTTING MY FOOT DOWN
No true beauty diva would ever be caught without her sunglasses. They are an absolute handbag must have. I have purchased then lost or broke many designer sunglasses and I have decided that enough is enough! No more designer sunglasses. As painful as that sounds, it had to be done because I can't stand losing all that money. So, I decided to purchase a less expensive pair of sunglasses and believe it or not, 1 year later I still have the same pair of glasses, completely intact. I can't lose or break them (not that I've tried, Ha-Ha). Go figure!
LOOKING COOL IS HOT
Sunglasses are the ultimate accessory to instantly make you look cool and glamorous just like your favorite celeb. Who doesn't want to look as hot as Angelina Jolie in her Dolce & Gabbana's? Sunglasses are just as important of an accessory as your handbag. Both can dress up an outfit as simple as your fav jeans and t-shirt.
WHERE DID I PUT MY GLASSES?
Those of you with better short-term memory than me I suggest that you invest in a great pair of sunglasses from designers like Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Coach and Chanel they are well worth the investment! For those of you who are like me who EASILY forget where you put things like sunglasses, car keys and the baby (only kidding!) then I suggest getting yourself a more reasonably priced pair of shades. I really like the sunglasses that I found at American Eagle Outfitters.
EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING
I do miss my designer sunglasses but I was able to get some really cute clothes at American Eagle Outfitters for the Summer with the money I had left over from buying my sunglasses there instead of buying one of the designer brands.
