Winter is gone, Summer is coming. Time to firm up those troublesome spots that keep on moving even after we have stopped moving. You don't have to have the model perfect dream bod to hit the beach this Summer (although I wouldn't mind my body looking that good). Exercise is the best way to fix the less than lovely parts of your body. Not only will you start to look better but you will get a renewed sense of self confidence because your clothes and those all revealing bathing suits will look better on you.
DOIN' TIME
If exercise feels like punishment then it is time to mix things up! The experts now say that it is best to do 60 minutes of exercise 5 times a week. Hello, reality check! How many of us really have an extra 60 minutes of time just laying around? I think that doing something is better than doing nothing. I would rather do 30 minutes of walking, light weight training or what I really like is using resistance bands than doing nothing!
FIGHT THE FORCES OF GRAVITY
The old saying "if you don't use it, you lose it" holds true for all of us. If you do not exercise your muscles then it will be replaced with fat and we all know how attractive fat looks! I have been using 2 exercise videos that are not only easy to do but they offer their exercise program in divided segments of 10 minutes. This is great because on the days that I have more time to work out I can do the entire video and on days where I am in a crunch for time I can still squeeze in a few minutes to fight the forces of nature.
EXERCISE FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD
The two videos that I really think that you will enjoy as much as I do are Tank Top Arms, Bikini Belly, Boy Shorts Bottom by Minna Lessig and the other video is by 10 minute Solutions, Dance It Off and Tone It Up. Both videos are available on Amazon. They are appropriate for all fitness levels and they are fun to do. Dance It Off and Tone It Up mixes it up with dancing segments and resistance band training segments. I love using resistance bands because they create nice muscle definition without straining your muscles.
Spring-time means that it is time to tone-up the muscle and tone down the fat.
