I am always looking to switch things up a bit with my shampoo. Changing shampoo is good for your hair because it helps to clear up the residue left behind from other hair products. I have stumbled upon a product that is new to me and has become one of new fav hair products, shampoo bars. Instead of a liquid shampoo in a bottle, this shampoo is like a bar of soap only better.
THE BAR BENEFITS
There are many benefits in switching to a bar of shampoo rather than sticking with the bottle of shampoo. The first is your bathroom closet, which if it is like mine, is over flowing with hair products. Now your closet will have more room for new products (a good reason to go shopping). Next, if you travel these small bars of shampoo take up MUCH less room than the traditional bottles of shampoo and you don't have to worry about "spillage". For those who are Mother Nature conscious, this means no plastic bottles to dispose of (good for the Earth).
RAISING THE BAR
I really love the way these shampoo bars work on my hair but more than that they smell AWESOME! lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics has many of these yummy shampoo bars. I really like Karma Komba Solid Shampoo, it smells great and will leave your hair soft, bouncy and tangle free. They also have Godiva Solid Shampoo that makes your strands super shiny and conditioned root to tip. Basin is another company that makes really nice shampoo bars such as my fav, Hair Food. This shampoo adds mega volume to my deflated locs. Hey, Blondie is a great choice for the Goldie Locks girls out there. Choose Macaroon if your hair chemically treated (or challenged) like mine to soften and condition hair.
Please let me know what you think of these shampoo bars. Till then! B.
