Herbal Essences has come up with their line of hair products specifically designed to give you a sexy, tousled "do" just in time for Summer! I was not blessed with well behaved hair so I am always on the hunt for hair products that can keep my hair "in -line". I think that the tousled look is very fresh and sexy and I love it on me but, can Herbal Essences tame my unruly tresses and reform my misbehaved waves? The answer is........ OH, YEAH!
WASHED UP
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly shampoo and conditioner are the first steps in getting your tousled hair. After using these products my hair was soft, shiny, full of volume and it felt like there was more texture to it.( I tested these products out on my daughters too and they also achieved the same results).
CATCH A WAVE
Depending on your hair type the next step is to choose a styling product that will hold your tousle. I spritzed the Herbal Essences Tousling Spray Gel on my daughter Madison's hair because she has thicker hair than I do. I think that spray gel is too heavy for fine hair like mine and it works better on medium to thick hair. To blow dry her hair , I just scrunched as I dried it and she ended up with beautiful, full, tousled hair (she LOVED it!).
MOUSSE ME BABY!
For those of us who have fine hair (my daughter Gianna and I) it is better to take the mousse route. Mousse is lighter than spray gel and therefore won't weigh down your hair. All we did was scrunch our hair as we dried it and we also ended up with fuller, tousled hair (we also LOVED it).
THE FINISHING TOUCH
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Finishing Touch Cream can be used on wet or dry hair to de-frizz hair and hold your tousle longer. I used it on my hair once it was dry to touch up my "tousle" and calm down the frizz.
BRIT'S NIT PICKS
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly non-aerosol hairspray is the final step in locking in your tousled tresses. I have to be honest and say that I do not like to use non-aerosol hairsprays because with my fine hair I find that they always weigh my hair down and makes it feel wet. Aerosol hairsprays dry quickly and deliver a FINE mist of hairspray which won't flatten out your hair.
