Before you start coloring your own hair be sure to first do a test strip to see how the color will look on you.( Choose one from the nape of your neck and another from the crown of your head). Next part hair down the middle and apply Clairol Perfect10 hair color starting at the roots to a couple inches above the ends. Take a gloved hand and run fingers through hair, including roots. F.Y.I The tips of the hair are porous and will become too light or dark if dye is applied directly on them. Set your timer, rinse hair well when timer goes off and be sure to follow with conditioner. It really is that easy. I did Clairol Perfect10 hair color on my mom and she LOVED the results. My hair on the other hand requires an all out, multi-tasked approach. My hair is colored AND highlighted so I think I will leave that to the professionals!
