NICK CHAVEZ- BODY BUILDING 101

I have been getting some emails asking me what new products are good for adding volume to limp hair. I have just received some products from Nick Chavez that I have tried out on my own "limp locks" and I think that these products my be just what you need!

Start Body Building (for your hair).
Step 1. The first step in increasing the volume of your hair is to wash it with a body building shampoo like Nick Chavez Plump 'N Thick Shampoo. This shampoo gently cleanses your hair without stripping it. It was gently enough to use even on colored treated hair like mine. My hair felt thicker immediately after washing it.
Step 2. I applied a dime size amount of the Plump 'N Thick Leave-in Thickening Creme Conditioner and ran it through my hair. I was tempted to wash it out because I am used to rinsing out conditioner BUT I followed the instructions and left it in my hair .
Step 3. The "Big Blow Out". Next comes the volumizer to "rev up" the volume in your hair. I sprayed the Nick Chavez Flocker into my hands, rubbed them together and distributed it through out my hair. I then used a round brush to blow dry my hair because this type of brush lifts hair from the roots for maximum lift.

Loved the shampoo and leave in conditioner! I must be honest, in the past I have not had good luck with leave in conditioners because they usually leave my hair flat and looking greasy. The Nick Chavez leave in conditioner left my hair full of volume and softness without heaviness. I also loved Flocker texturizing spray. This is a very light spray that gives great volume and fullness without stiffness and stickiness. After my hair was set I used the Nick Chavez Volumizing Extra Hold Hairspray to lock in my new found fullness and body. This is a light misting hairspray that will not flatten your hair or dampen your "do"!
