Copper colored eye shadow is the "it girl' of eye makeup right now. Celebs like Charlize Theron and Jessica Alba have been spotted with copper eyes. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the whole "copper thing" for eyes because I thought it made eyes look red. However, after playing around with and testing out copper colored eye shadow on myself, I now can see why copper is popular this season. I found that bold colors such as copper come in many beautiful shades that will flatter any and all skin tones. I have blonde hair and fair skin so my best bet copper is Bobbi Brown Metallic Eye Shadow in "Bonfire". This eye shadow is a soft shade of copper that will bring a subtle "fire" to your eyes. If you have a darker skin tone try a deeper shade of copper like Covergirl's Queen Collection Eye Shadow in Copper Penny!

K.I.S.S (KEEP IT SIMPLE, SEXY!)
After playing around with the Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Bonfire, I found that copper shadow should only be applied to your eyelid (lash line to crease). Do not extend the shadow past the brow bone. Copper toned eye shadow is one of those colors where less is DEFINITELY more! To finish off my eyes I used a brown eyeliner and black mascara (just on my top lashes) and that was it! I had fun, flirty, sexy eyes and the best part was that it did not take long to achieve this look.
I must also let you know that when you are using bold colors on your eyes like the Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Bonfire do not to over do the rest of your makeup. Nude lip gloss on the lips and Earth toned cheeks is all you will need to look fab-u-lous this Fall!
