A GLIMMER OF HOPE

Bare Minerals has done it again!  As you all know I am a huge Bare Minerals fan! I thought that it would be fun in keeping with my "Holiday Party" themed makeup to talk about the new Bare Minerals Extreme Glimmers Eyeshadows (they are sooo sexy!). These eyeshadows are the ultimate in eyeshadow glitter!  They deliver a MEGA-WATTAGE of beautiful color and glimmer that will last all day, or night, long.

Even though these eyeshadows are beautiful they really are for a "night out" because they are VERY glittery.  I found that you really need to use the eyeshadow primer (which is included in the kit) to help keep the glitter in place. The Extreme Glimmers Eyeshadow is "chunkier" than typical shadows so, I found it helpful to pour a small amount into the cap and use your brush (the one included in the kit) and work the shadow around to separate it into a finer powder which makes it easier to apply. When applying the Extreme Glimmers I like to use my fingers because I find that I have better control of where I apply the shadow. This mode of application also decreases the amount of "sprinkling" of glitter on other parts of my face (you know how glitter can go everywhere).  You can also use a brush to apply, however, I would try "pressing" it on rather than sweeping to prevent it from spraying on your face.

TAKE IT OFF!
If you do get some glitter or eyeshadow on your face an easy and neat way to remove it is by simply taking a piece of scotch tape, press onto your face and lift. Voila! The glitter is gone and the rest of your makeup remains intact!
