LOREAL EVERSTRONG SULFATE-FREE FORTIFY SYSTEM
"DO" OVER!
Start 2010 anew. Time to renew your tired looking "Do"! If you are like me, then 2009 has been nothing less than harsh on your hair. I know that I flat ironed, blew dry and bleached (highlights) my hair way too much! But lets not dwell on the past, it's time to look forward to a year of stronger, healthier locks! I was asked by Brand Building Communications to try out some of the newest hair products from L'Oreal and then report my findings. I received products from the Everstrong Sulfate-Free Haircare line which includes the Shampoo, Conditioner, Overnight Repair Treatment and the Deep Replenishing Masque.
STRENGTH TRAINING FOR YOUR HAIR
Thanks to my genes, I was born with "wimpy" hair. I have the kind of hair that requires much TLC. It needs something for moisture, volume, texture and strength (no wonder why my bathroom closet is busting at the hinges!). For this reason is why I love using the L'Oreal Everstrong System. The shampoo and conditioner are sulfate-free which is just what the "doctor"(hair dresser) ordered for colored hair like mine. I found that my hair was soft, manageable and I had less breakage after using the shampoo and conditioner. My ends were less brittle and my hair had more resilience especially when it came to brushing and blow drying my hair. I also enjoyed the creamy consistency of the shampoo and conditioner which have a wonderful "minty " aroma to them.
TREAT ME RIGHT!
The L'Oreal Everstrong Sulfate-Free Fortify System also offers a Deep Replenishing Masque which delivers an intense nourishing treatment for your tresses. I left this masque on for 3 minutes. The directions say you can leave it on for 3-5 minutes but I find that with my fine hair (and I don't mean "fine" in a good way) 5 minutes was just a little too long for my hair type. After "unmasking" my hair it was shiny, smooth, soft and it was definitely in better shape! I like to use this hair masque once a week to keep my tresses in tip top shape!
OVERNIGHT RETREAT
The last product that I tried out was the L'Oreal Everstrong Overnight Repair Treatment (love it!). This really is a treat for your strands! You simply apply 1-2 pumps of this cream to your dry hair before you go to bed at night ( I paid special attention to my ends). I have forced hot air heat in my home and there is a vent right over my bed. So, all night long the heat blows on my hair, drying it out and making it brittle. I found that by using this hair treatment my hair was soft, hydrated and my ends were not crunchy and brittle the next morning!

Not only am I happy with The L'Oreal Everstrong System but my hair (especially my ends) have never been happier or healthier looking! Please let me know what you think. Till then! B.

I love it too!!! I purchased this weekend and tried it on my hair and it feels fabulous. So silky and smooth. I give this product line a 2 thumbs up!
I also love this. I bought it over the weekend and noticed a huge difference in my hair. The main reason I bought it though, and in my opinion, the best thing about the products, it is 100% vegan - no animal products which are often found in beauty products, AND although L'oreal does test on animals, this particular product has not been tested on animals. Now I can easily get hair products form my local pharmacy for a good price instead of having to drive to whole foods, lush and other places to buy expensive products that fit the no animal product/testing criteria. I've got 2 of of my favorite things combined: hair products and animal rights!
