L'OREAL TOUCH-ON HIGHLIGHTS
I usually have a professional highlight my hair but when I have something that comes up "spur of the moment" that I have to go to, I like to give my hair a quick fix to freshen it up a bit. The easiest and quickest way for me to do this is by adding a few highlights around my face to brighten-up my "do". I came across an interesting looking highlight applicator kit from L'Oreal called Touch-On Highlights and I had to give it a go. It is such a super-simple idea that it is actually GENIOUS! The highlight kit contains L'Oreal's unique "control touch finger tip" applicator that you wear on the finger you are going to use to apply the color with.
HIGHLIGHTS HOW-TO
I found this method to be a much easier way to highlight your hair because it allows you to apply color only where you want it. It also gives you more natural looking highlights rather than the heavier chunks of highlights that you can get from using a brush applicator. The bristles on this applicator allows hair to glide through easily and delivers an "all around", even coating of color along the entire hair shaft. This product is so easy to use even I can do it! There is no fumbling around with a clumsy brush or worrying about how you are going to remove the hair color that you accidentally got onto the hair you did not want highlighted. You simply dip your finger with the applicator on into the color and glide it along the hair shaft, let the color sit, rinse it out and that's it! Beautiful, natural looking highlights without all the mess! I will definitely be using the L'Oreal Touch-On Highlights to add a few more sexy highlights for Valentine's Day!
