L'OREAL VOLUMINOUS WATERPROOF MASCARA

Hot, humid and sweltering.  This are the words that I would use to describe the weather conditions at my daughter's graduation from elementary school this morning! I have more than once given myself an awful bang trim because I was in a rush and I never learned how to do it the correct way. My bangs tend to grow out fast which requires me to have them trimmed often but I don't always have the time to run to my hairdresser so, I like to trim them myself. Totalbeauty.com gave celebrity makeup artist and beauty brand founder Napoleon Perdis a challenge: create six gorgeous makeup looks that can be done in four minutes or less. BEST SUNSCREEN

Finding the best sunscreen can be a difficult ask.  You want one that protects your skin but without all the stickiness and greasiness.  I have found one that I would consider to be a best sunscreen because it works great AND it won't cost you an arm and leg.  After reading an Elle Magazine on-line interview with the lovely Brooklyn Decker, I decided to try out the sunscreen that she said she has used.  Brooklyn said that during the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition photo-shoot she used the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock Body Mist SPF 45 "because it gives a glistening sheen that actually makes you look gorgeous and glowy" (according to Brooklyn)  Well, if it is good enough to protect Brooklyn's skin than it will definitely be good enough to use on my "not-so-famous skin"!

After using the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunblock SPF 45 I would say that it is my choice for  best sunscreen.  I love that it is a fine mist, spray-on sunscreen (less mess left on my hands!) and it really does leave your skin looking "glowy and gorgeous".  My daughters also love using this sunscreen because it is sooo easy to apply.  They are fair skinned and tend to burn easily and after a day at the beach while wearing the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunblock SPF 45 they had NO sunburn what-so-ever!! (remember to reapply!)  They just can't figure out why they are still so white after spending a day beachside. They are at an age where they want to be tanned and don't really care about the problems associated with sun exposure.  So, I sneak in a high SPF sunscreen when they aren't paying attention to what they're putting on!  Please let me know about your best sunscreen  Till then!  B. 

SMOKEY EYES

SMOKE IN YOUR EYES
Smokey eyes are probably one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite look for eyes!  Smokey eyes make "maturing" eyes like mine look softer and younger and it also works great for  "youthful eyes" making eyes pop with color! Although it does take some practice to get the smokey eyes look just right, it is well worth your time and patience!!  I always thought that the smokey eye was something you could only achieve with black shadow and liner but  I could not have been MORE wrong!  Sexy, smokey eyes are possible with most eye makeup shades so don't be afraid to play around and experiment with new and different colors!
