Chanel Le Vernis Spring Nail Colors
We've been anxiously waiting ALL winter long for it. What amazing new shades of nail color does Chanel have planned for us to start drooling over for the spring? My mom is getting older and doesn’t get out so much anymore. She lives alone, but I talk to her at least once a day on the phone. She used to be very active and run all over town all the time. I couldn’t even keep up with her. But lately she has slowed down a lot. I guess that is what happens when you get in your eighties. My whole life my mom has always been very active in her church. Now she has gotten to where she doesn’t feel comfortable driving at night, and she won’t drive if the weather is bad. So she spends a lot of time at home, even on Sundays. I recently started telling her about different church broadcasts that she could watch on her Grand Rapids directv. She watches two or three different ones each Sunday. One of her favorite church services to watch is Joel Osteen’s church. He is such a young dynamic minister. My mom actually knew his dad who was also a minister a long time ago. I guess that is why she feels a connection with him.

CoverGirl Tone Rehab Foundation Review
CoverGirl Tone Rehab Foundation - I can't do the whole heavy and cakey foundation thing. It literally drives me crazy when I wear a heavy foundation. I don't like the heavy, tight, almost constricting feeling that heavy foundations leave on my skin. Not to mention that my skin usually breaks out like mad from heavy foundations. This is why I am a true fan of light weight foundations and tinted moisturizers. The latest light foundation that I have been using is the new CoverGirl Tone Rehab 2-in 1 Foundation. The latest edition to the CoverGirl and Olay family is a smart foundation that helps to "cover discolorations, lines and wrinkles and improve skin tone over time" by infusing a hydrating Olay serum into the foundation.
My main inspiration for trying this foundation out was because of the cover shot of Rebecca Romijn on Fitness Magazine. Her makeup looked AMAZING and I noticed that they used the CoverGirl Tone Rehab 2-in1 Foundation for her flawless looking skin. When I used this foundation I instantly fell in love with the smooth, creamy texture of this 2-in1 foundation because it goes on evenly and feels as light as air on your face. When someone spills the "sexy beauty" secrets of those gorgeous Victoria's Secret models, I listen and pay close attention. After reading, rereading and committing to memory the beauty tips of the Victoria's Secret models that I found in my February Allure magazine, I realized one very important thing, that simplicity is sexy!
According to hairstylist to the Victoria's Secret models, Orlando Pita, " The sexiest hair is shiny and has a side part." Nothing high maintenance, just simple, loose natural looking waves with lots of shine and lived in texture. If there is one thing that I have learned about caring for your skin, it is that a good and effective skincare routine should be kept simple and it is always advisable to use the best skin care products available. The key to amazing skin is simply finding a few basic products that work best for your skin type. I know that it can be so incredibly tempting to run out and buy up every new skin care product that promises to fix and undo our flaws, but do all these extra products really make that much of a difference in the appearance of your skin? I have found that you do not need to have a skincare product line as big as Sephora's in order to have beautiful skin.
What every woman needs in a her skin care product line-up is a great cleanser, moisturizer (a separate eye cream is not necessary), exfoliator and one special treatment for items like dark circles, age spots, etc.. Once you figure out your skin type and which skin care products works best for your skin, you will find that you do not need to use many products to get good results. In fact, certain products when used together, can actually cause these products to be less effective then if they were used alone.
